Ill never forget when you moved to Creston, We went camping up 9K in Yahk with the family. Your parents went to town and left you with me. You had a slingshot and told me "If I see a bear, Ill shoot it in the nuts!" you were only 10 years old. I really enjoyed the times I took care of you boys and watching you grow up. Ill miss you Richie.

Love you Richard. You're missed by many, and were such a good guy. I still remember fondly when you and Sean visited and vice versa, and how funny you were as a kid. I'll miss you. You're an angel now.

Ive known you since high school, you always had your closest friends by your side. I always thought it was funny we became family. When our siblings got married I considered you a brother-in-law just like Sean. I loved seeing you with all the kids and thats something I wont ever forget. The amazing father and uncle you truly were. Im thankful for all the videos and photos you took and shared publicly so that your daughter along with our niece and nephew can always look back and remember how involved and how much fun you always were. I wish it wasn't you but I know you will be the best Guardian Angel to those kids.
You are loved and missed by so many Richie but you sure left a mark on this world and you wont ever be forgotten.

I will always remember how you were thrilled to finally have a daughter. Addy Bear was you light and your heart. Whether it be making pizzas with her, playing Barbies with that Cynthia voice, reading stories, going to the park. You did everything with her just to see that smile on her face. Now you will be her guardian angel. Please make sure she feels your presence as this is very hard on her. She even asked if she payed hard enough would God send you back to us. I will always love and miss you. We will all make sure Addy knows how much you loved her my sweet boy!

Dear Family,
I only met Richard recently thru a impromptu Face time conversation but he sure made an impression. Richard was larger than life and it radiated off of him. He was funny and spontaneous and charming.. He would have been my son in law as he had full intentions of having a long life with Coralie. He loved her and the girls. One day while chatting with Coralie he was in the middle of the front yard having a water fight with Jade. It was clear how much he loved children and he would have involved Adeline into the mix. How fortunate for her to have such a caring man to call Dad.
My heart is broken for you all. Heaven has gained a precious jewel.
Selena Henri - (Coralies mom)

Jersey, a man of many laughs and fond memories. But I will say, when it came to getting shit done, you were and always will be, the man. I will miss you always and I am so glad I got to see you, the girls and the creatures. I wish we could have rode bikes together but every time I tide, I think of you. Heart bigger than the sun, love bigger than the universe. Love you bro. Thankyou for me getting to meet you.

Richard’s energy and enthusiasm was on a whole different level, there was nothing but laughter and great conversations.
One of the best memories was when an older excavator operator was playing a prank on our foreman and he sent Richard with a tiger torch to melt snow in a pile of gravel, this whole incident was followed by hysterical laughter.

In the passing of our dear friend Richard, we find solace in recalling his spirit. A man of intelligence and creativity, he charmed us with his humor and kindness. His optimistic outlook was truly infectious, igniting a shared passion for adventure within us all. Remembering the interesting conversations and spirited laughter we shared since becoming friends five years ago through Ken and Sue, Richard's absence leaves a tangible void, but his memory lives on.
