Muriel Smith (nee Coutu) passed away peeacefully on Sunday February 13, 2022, at Swan Valley Lodge in Creston BC at the age of 91 years.
Muriel was born on December 12, 1930, to parents Rolande and Andre Coutu in Timmons, ON and was the eldest of 15 children.
She leaves behind her daughter Ginny (Phil) Schleihauf of Sarnia ON, and her son Kenneth (Jacky) Smith of Creston, BC, 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will take place in Sarnia, ON later this summer.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to all the staff at Swan Valley Lodge for their compassionate care of our mother.
