Obituary of Jesse James Docherty

Please share a memory of Jesse to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Saturday September 4, 2021, brought a heavy heart and much sadness as Jesse (James CR) Docherty, born June 14, 1979, found his eternal peace at the age of 42 years.

Jesse grew up loving engines and he enjoyed the freedom the Kootenay mountains offered. He felt at home here, in which he found peace and solitude in nature. His passion for the outdoors transferred over to his young daughter Nevaeh, who he sadly leaves behind. He loved spending time with Nevaeh, and with this passion included the two enjoying numerous adventures, hiking, and camping together. Jesse was always ready to lend a hand to those who needed it and remained active in the community with his work. Most people know Jesse from the signage industry. Jesse spent 20 years creating and expanding his own creativity providing custom signs. Jesse leaves a void in many hearts.

Jesse was predeceased by his grandmother Fern Ratcliff.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Nevaeh Jackson, mother Deborah Docherty, step-father Joe Popoff, sister Willow Dyball, and cousin Chris Miller.

No Celebration of Life Service to be held at this time.
