Our Deepest Condolences to Terry and the Family of Wade Nearing
Wade was a neighbour, fellow biker and successful business man who graced our lives and touched our hearts. Everyone was important to Wade, and he made you feel this was so by his caring, compassionate nature. He had the personality of a saint, and you just knew he would do all that was possible to right a wrong for you, if he could.
I once asked my friend, Canon Alan Jackson the meaning of grace. He said without hesitation, “the facilitation of the beneficial other”. Wade was ‘the beneficial other’ in so many of our lives, listening to our troubles, offering advice, and providing encouragement. In another time he might have been a Man of the Cloth, but in our time he was Everybody’s Friend. Thank God we had a chance to know him and love him.
