Obituary of John Warren Somers

John Warren Somers passed away peacefully at home on June 23, 2021, with his loving wife by his side, in Wynndel, BC at the age of 64 years.

John was born on August 11, 1956, in Regina, SK to parents Thelma and Earnest Somers.  John loved life and lived it to the fullest.  Even when he was on oxygen and needed to carry the tank in a knapsack, he worked and was called the “ever ready bunny”.  John loved his last few years in the beautiful Creston Valley with his church family at St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 24 years, Carolyn, sisters, Anna, Lori, Debbie, and Cheryl and brother Robbie.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday July 7, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church in Creston, BC with Rev. Stephan Van Greunen officiating.
