Obituary of Roger Arthur Wesley Reeves

Roger A.W. Reeves passed away peacefully on 05.05.2021 in Creston, BC at the age of 84 years.
Roger was born on 04.04.1937 to parents Roger and Edith Reeves in Woodstock, ON. During his youth he was a competitive athlete who enjoyed sports, especially high diving. His passion for driving began with a Model A car which also started his joy of world travel.
Roger served with the Canadian Navy from 1954 until 1968, where he was based in Nova Scotia. He spent two and a half years with submarine duty in England, it was here that he married his Canadian fiancée, Eleanor in 1957. After moving to St. Thomas, ON, Roger had a career in real estate until his retirement, at which time he and his wife spent seventeen years wintering in Mexico. In 2011, they made Creston their home.
Roger will be fondly remembered by his artworks, sense of humour, his generous spririt, inspiring personality and as a loving father.
Roger is predeceased by many loving family members including his beloved brother James Reeves in 2011.
Roger will be lovingly remembered by his “darling wife” Eleanor, two sons Richard (Darlene Amendt) and J. Martin (Deb Kaweski), grandson Mitchell Reeves, as well as several half brothers and sisters.
Roger, aka Rogelio/Grandpa Rojo, will remain in our thoughts forever.
