Obituary of Mariya Yuriivna Bilynska

On August 12, 2022, our Baba Mariya passed away at the age of 89 with family by her side.

Mariya Yuriivna Bilynska was born in Lysovychi, Lviv Region, Ukraine on September 4, 1932. She was the youngest daughter of 5 children born to her loving parents Mariya Vasyliv and Yuri Bilynsky.

Mariya is predeceased by her husband Yevhen Felitsyn of 20 years; sister Anna; brothers Ivan, Petro and Bohdan.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Volodymyr (Walter) Felitsyn, her daughter in law Jennifer and her grandsons Evan and Olexa. Her sister-in-law, Luba Bilynska, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends in Ukraine. Her Canadian family Eldon, Diane, Nathan Johnson and their extended family, Diane and David Schaub, Cynthia, and Troy Pruden. Her dearest friends in Edmonton and area who welcomed her to Canada with open hearts and her newest friends of Nikkyl Place whose kindness was appreciated each and every day.

A private service will be held on Tuesday August 23, 2022. Her final resting place, as she wished, will be in Ukraine.
