Obituary of Leon Lorne Francoeur

Leon Lorne Francoeur passed away on March 30, 2021 in Creston, BC at the age of 79 years.

Leon was born on February 24, 1942 in Saskatoon, SK to parents Blanche and Phillip Francoeur. He spent most of his life working in the bush, 8 years with BC Hydro, and many of the infrastructure advancements throughout the Kootenays. Leon married Eva Nora Doucette on July 22, 1964 and together had four children.  Leon always had his signature roll-your-own cigarette hanging from the corner of his mouth, he also loved a sip of vodka with his friends and family. 

Leon will be dearly missed by his children Lisa (Keith) Ostendorf, Darlene (Cliff) Wiebe, and Todd (Paullette) Francoeur, grandchildren Dallas, Dustin, Teandra, Larissa, Kim, Ollie, Rielle, and Darren Rogne as well as great grandchildren.

Leon was predeceased by his parents Blanche and Phillip Francoeur and son Darren Francoeur.
